Questioning organized religion as the scourge of humanity and the people who more than practice it, but push it.

Those Evil Scary Atheists

Pastor Compares Atheists To “Terrorists, Sex Offenders,” Suggests National Registry

I love when they talk about our "godless agenda"...Like that's a bad thing.  Was my mother right all those years ago when some kid in school would give me a hard time, she would say, "They're just jealous."  The idiots spend all that time in church, having to get up early on Sunday.  Now science is saying what we've known all along, that atheists are smarter than christians.  Yeah.  That's it.  They're just jealous.

Perry is Praying for the White House

Just what we need, another christian idiot in the White House like Bush.  I don't trust someone who believes in fairy tales to make important decisions about anything, let alone the country.

No Such Thing As A Good Christian

Anders Behring Breivik, a right-wing Christian extremist, facing terrorism charges and crimes against humanity for opening fire on a crowd of innocent people in Norway, killing 78 of them.  Like Hitler, this crazy bastard believes in skyguy and apparently insists everyone else does as well.  I guess, abortion is the only type of killing these assholes don't like.

Michele Bachmann Wants to Pray the Gay Away at Our Expense

The so-called gay conversion therapy has been denounced by the scientific and medical communities as ineffective, and potentially dangerous, but an investigation earlier this month exposed that this hateful practice is used by the "Quality Christian Counseling Clinic" owned by Michele Bachmann and her husband -- a clinic which was recently discovered to have received over $137,000 in federal Medicaid funds, in addition to $24,000 in other state and federal funds.

Bachmann, after denying for years the hokey
Quality Christian Counseling Clinic practiced ex-gay therapy, to pray the gay away, we now learn that it is being done at our expense.  Our taxpayer dollars shouldn't be funding it.

I just signed a petition asking The Dept. of Health and Human Services, which oversees Medicaid, and the Minnesota Dept. of Health, which distributes the funds within the state, to immediately pull public funds from Bachmann's clinic.

Learn more and sign the petition here:

Put Your Right Hand On the Bible (And Then Wash Thoroughly)

See how many times god thought rape was a good christian's right.

God doesn't belong in government.

The Right Wingers ran America into the ground for eight years and we let them. If we've learned nothing else from having a bible-thumping idiot in the White House, we've learned not to let it happen again. Please do not encourage the disrespect of my Constitutional separation of church and state by attending this event.

The Catholic Church Says How to Live and How to Die

The church has always dictated how people live. It is no surprise they think they get a say in how people die. It is our fault for allowing them to have so much power and as any other dictatorship, the church should be given limits by which they must abide or be ousted from power.

Target: U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops
Sponsored by: Compassion & Choices
The nation's most powerful religious body is launching an attack on the right to dictate our end-of-life decisions.

During its high-profile June 15-17 meeting in Seattle, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops opposed the choice of aid in dying at life's end.

The Bishops Conference proposes a platform designed to restrict patient access to end-of-life choice. Their document, To Live Each Day with Dignity, is the first statement on aid in dying by the full body of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.

They also seek to shame people who support aid in dying, and the terminally ill patients who seek it, through the unique power of their pulpit.

Every American should have the right to a dying process free of meddling from religious or governmental institutions.

Let the Conference of Bishops know that their views do not reflect mainstream opinion. No one--and no institution--should have the power to dictate your end of life choices.

Jesus Christ

Not only are our soldiers who do not claim a religious affiliation sent to the most dangerous areas, the guns they carry are imprinted secretly with biblical code that our tax dollars pay for their inscription. The religious wrong is at it again.

What is the Excuse Being Used Now?

Now that Skyguy failed to appear and whisk away all the truly stupid people on the planet who adhere to the ridiculous publication that advertises fairy tales as fact like it was written by people who were actually there to see it happen, why haven't the churches cleared out after doubt has now officially been cast? I, personally, am more than a little disappointed. I was looking forward to getting rid of them. You know, the imbeciles. Imagine a world with less stupidity in it. A world without priests and other pedophiles, right wingers, Conservative Republicans, Tea Baggers, televangelists, Darwin Doubters, Neo-Nazis, KKK members and bigots of all varieties including, but not limited to anti-Semites, homophobes, bible-thumpers, psalm-singers, NRA-supporters, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, George Bush, and Believers who are Purveyors of Reality TV.

Aaah...What a beautiful world it would have been.
